People tend to complicate their own lives,
as if living weren’t already complicated enough.
Affirmation: I view the experiences of others as life lessons for myself.
I always consider the experiences of others to be opportunities to learn and to carve out a path for my life.
One of the advantages of co-existing on this Earth is learning from each other. Every face I look into tells a story that can have a profound impact on my life.
Every day is a learning experience for me.
I am conscious of the person I am, who I wish to become, and the life that I want to lead. And, I use the experiences of others to help me gauge the success of my own efforts to achieve it. I meld the lessons to create my book of life.
When I observe the happiness in others, I take a moment to try to analyze the source of that happiness. I give thought to my own situation and try to determine if I am focusing on positivity in my own relationships. I use some of the lesson that I learn from observing the experiences of other to help me secure my emotional happiness.
I also observe negative situations between people and try to assess what causes the breakdown in communication. I use these opportunities to introspectively assess my behaviors and actions to determine whether I play a part in fueling the negative relationships in my life.
Today, I accept my co-existence with others is a chance to make positive changes.
I recognize the unconscious and subconscious input of others to making me a better human being and embrace the life lessons of their experiences.
Homework/ Self-Reflective Questions/ Journal Prompts:
1. How easily do I adapt to changes based on my observation of external situations?
2. Do I readily share the lessons learned with the people I love?
3. How could I more advantageously use the experiences of others to learn life lessons?
Thoughts?
Here’s to an awesome week!!!
