Our minds and their attendant thoughts are powerful engines. We can churn up all sorts of imaginings, both good and bad. When we dwell on the negative, we are at risk of falling into a tailspin from which it is difficult to recover. Yet, often, when we finally take a moment to stop, and breathe, we can see that most of the angst and pain and suffering were created in our minds and not in our realities. Shake yourself awake!
