I will be reading from I AM THE RAGE + new pieces + a panel discussion. Join us…
ICESAHT would like to lift up the Black community in Indiana and the United States, honoring sacrifice while echoing and reaffirming the rising crescendo of those declaring that, in fact, and always, Black Lives Matter. Juneteenth has been chosen as a day of reflection, inquiry, and gratitude for the sacrifices and gifts of those who came before us, allowing us the opportunity to be free. There is still much to learn about anti-black racism and other inequities and inequalities. Juneteenth can serve as a marker and a place to pause as we continue our journey.
